Over 135 major electrotechnical manufacturers and 6,000 visitors attended the 2013 biennial ‘Cebeo Technologie’ trade fair in Brussels in mid-May. And Eldon’s great looking booth in Hall 3 of the Brussels Expo center proved a popular attraction.
Providing a great opportunity for movers and shakers in the electrotechnical industry to showcase their products and innovations, the Cebeo Technologie 2013 fair ran over two days, May 15 – 16, and was themed ‘The Future is Smart’.
The exhibition is organized in Brussels every second year by Cebeo, one of Belgium’s major distribution companies and a member of the international Sonepar group. Many of the visitors are successful installers from the residential market, panel builders and system integrators.
Eldon was there with a 25-sq. meter booth, ideally sited in a vibrant central location, next to the host of the fair, Cebeo.
The enclosure solutions proved to be a highly popular attraction. Eldon lived up to its position as a leading player in the stainless steel enclosures market with a stunning booth design that firmly highlighted its take on the future. The company showcased in the front row the floor standing EKSS stainless steel compact version enclosure as well as the MCSS stainless steel combinable enclosure.
The concept behind Eldon’s stand was to create something exceptional, focused on the smallest detail. Visitors to the stand were impressed by the way Eldon blended design with functionality, diversity with practicability, all driving the message home with a range of different mild steel and stainless steel enclosures sharing the same ‘stage’.
Eldon used its stand to underline how the versatility of its MAS and ASR ranges meet the demands of both simple and complex installation solutions across a spectrum of industries. A bonus was that visitors were able to get a full all-round view of Eldon’s SSTB stainless steel terminal box, a best-in-class enclosure solution that meets every functional and aesthetic requirement of the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Meeting, greeting and helping to answer the questions of visitors to the Eldon stand were Axel Roobaert, Sales Manager Eldon Belgium & France, Charly Van Stichel, Account Manager Bruxelles, Brabant-Wallon, Hainaut, Brabant-Flamand and Tim De Wilde Account Manager, West en Oost Vlaanderen/ Antwerpen.
Axel Roobaert says the main purpose of Eldon’s participation was achieved, “we left the fair with strong links forged with customers and new business partnerships established. We experienced two incredible days and met many extraordinary, successful people with a strong desire for perfection,” Axel Roobaert said.
“Taking part in such events is about networking and sharing experience and expertise. This event showed that manufacturing companies are bursting with creativity, have innovative and smart ideas and are constantly striving to provide top products and great solutions’. He also expressed appreciation for Cebeo who is ‘incontestable leader in its field’.
The Cebeo Technologie Fair also further strengthened the bond between Eldon and Cebeo, one of Eldon’s major distributors. During the exhibition, Eldon talked about Cebeo’s E-shop service, an online solution to help customers save time and money when ordering an Eldon product, for example, for delivery from a central warehouse in the Netherlands.
