Eldon Launches Compact High Performance Fan Tray

Eldon has just released a new tray designed to hold high performance fans for its 19” data and telecommunications line of enclosures. Designed to force air circulation in compact spaces, the trays are narrow enough that they can be employed on racks hosting a combination of different components-- such as servers, switches and or patches.

“Because the most effective way to ventilate the heat from the racks is to position the fan tray close the heat source for maximum cooling effect, the narrowness of the tray makes this new product especially effective,” said Wieger Westra, International Key Account Manager, Eldon. “Furthermore, because the tray’s digital temperature sensor can be fitted on any hotspot, the unit can remain in the same position even if the location of the hotspot changes”

The integrated temperature display on the tray is designed to clearly show the temperature in the rack and will let users know if the temperature has reached any critical limits. Additionally, the unit’s large adjustment buttons, make it easy to regulate the preferred temperature.
