Eldon Launches EPS Drawing Tool

In line with Eldon’s goal of making things as easy as possible for its customers, the firm has just released the EPS Drawing Tool. The tool enables panel builders, installers and distributors to build their own Power and Distribution applications in ACAD by simply dragging and dropping items from a treeview into the popular schematic creation software. Users then simply save the file as a dxf…and simple as that —they have a P&D drawing.

The application also enables them to quickly and easily create a Bill of Materials that includes the prices of all selected components in local currency (with available discounts), not to mention an estimate of mounting time for the selected components. The ESP Drawing Tool will also be used in Eldon’s local back offices.

The new EPS Drawing Tool will save Eldon’s customers time and hassle as it eliminates the need for them to create their own drawings or develop an Excel spreadsheet-based Bill of Materials for each job component by component.

“We are really pleased about the launch of the EPS Drawing Tool,” said Per Ulrik Erikson, Eldon’s Manager of Floor Standing Enclosures. “We are certain this tool is going to save our customers a good deal of time and make it easier for them to order from Eldon’s Power and Distribution line of products.”

The new tool is currently being used by one Eldon customer in North American, with many more excited to try it.
