Eldon Supports Delta Lloyd Solar Boat Team
The Delta Lloyd Solar Boat Team is a student project of the TU (Technical University) Delft, the designers and builders of the Solar Boat.
The most important contest is the Frisian Solar Challenge World Cup for Solar Powered Boats. The third edition of this event takes place from 4th to 10th of July 2010.

The Solar Boat Team is the unbeaten winner of the Frisian Solar Challenge. The 220 kilometer track of the Eleven City Tour will be covered by all the solar boat teams.
The battery and the solar converters (MPPT’s) of the Solar Boat are playing an important part in the competition as well. In order to prevent heat dissipation, a fan must be installed. Naturally, this particular fan must meet a certain IP value to protect against water coming into the boat.

The Eldon EFP fans for outdoor applications have IP55 and are, therefore, protected against water jets! Another big advantage, given in a competition time always makes the difference, is that the Eldon fans and exhaust filters are installed with a time saving ‘’click and fit’’ system. No screws needed!
