Following changes in manufacturing processes during 2006, Eldons UK plant at Rotherham plans to make futher enhancements.
Back in 2005 Eldon improved the appearance and functionality of the doors to its ASR range by introducing a gas purging process to reduce the 'blueing' caused by welding.

As part of the ongoing process, Eldon are to adopt a manufacturing process that completes the corner forming on all stainless steel wall-mounting enclosures in a single process.
By utilising the new machinery the need to weld and retreat is eliminated. This provides a clean finish and eliminates all together the possibility of corrosion weak points on the doors as a result of welding.
This process will provide the same high quality appearance but with improved performance in harsh external or food applications by improving the corrosion resistance of the enclosure.
Combined with the introduction of the 240s material finish earlier this year Eldon provide an even higher standard enclosure 'as standard'
