Eldon’s new enclosure profile, the CLPF is making life easier for panel builders and OEMs alike. By offering both horizontal and vertical mounting possibilities, the new profile enables items such as circuit breakers, PLC’s, computer systems and busbar system supports to be mounted nearly anywhere within a floor standing enclosure. Furthermore, because the CLPF profile’s hole pattern matches the hole pattern in the frame of the enclosure in width, depth and height, customers can employ the complete width of the enclosure as an installation surface.

“Our new CLPF profile is extremely versatile and greatly expands the possibilities to install equipment into Multi-Flex floor standing enclosures,” said Pieter Dekker, Eldon’s Product Manager Enclosures. “Because our customers can use the new profiles to easily adjust height, width and depth, positioning any equipment inside the enclosure is greatly simplified.”
The CLPF profile offers two rows of holes spaced 25 mm apart alternating square and round holes for cage nuts and self tapping screws. For fastening the CLPF profile to the Multi-Flex enclosure, users can choose either screws that go directly into the profile itself or click-in nuts (#CNM) for a more rigid installation. By employing sliding nuts (#GLM) attached to the back of the profile, users can make even the slightest adjustments of position easily.
Eldon’s new profiles can be configured in a host of positions, including an H-format for easy installation of big circuit breakers (using sliding nuts in the back of the profile). Additionally, the new CLPF profile can be used in combination with Eldon’s CLCK profile for added versatility.
