In January 2005, The Eldon Group released it’s new full height swing frames which can be build into enclosures of 600, 800, 1000 and 1200 mm wide. Added to this product range and new on the market is an in-depth mounting frame for support and easy wiring which is a tremendous time saver. Again Eldon takes the lead exploring new territories. To complete the range of swing frames, the partial height versions have been introduced in July of 2005.

 

To further complete the Multi-Flex® floor standing enclosure ranges the North American design of  Flange Mount Disconnect version will become available as of September 2005 both in 800 and 1000 mm wide.

 

Partial heigh swing frames, SFP

The new swing frame concept is manufactured in a rigid S-shaped frame profile and equipped with a 19” hole pattern in front and back. It can be utilized in the Multi-Mount® wall mounting series, Multi-Flex® floor standing series and EDR Data Racks. The new generation has a zinc plated frame for direct earthing of the mounted components which results in a direct saving on labour costs. Standard opening angle from 125 and 155 degrees.

 

Within the newly designed flange mounted disconnect enclosures Eldon has incorporated a some new features. Activating the locking mechanism can now operate slave enclosures on both sides of the master enclosure simultaneously. Next to that the system is equipped with a feature which allows the interlocking system to be used independently of a main door interlocking enclosure therefore also in conjunction with standard Multi-Flex® enclosures. This means much more flexibility on the work shop floor and less costs.
