Enclosure evolution makes your life simpler!
Making ordering, supply & installation simpler for panel builders, OEMs and installers was top of mind when Eldon redesigned its stainless steel wall mounted enclosures.
The latest version of Eldon’s ASR enclosure has been designed so that it utilizes the same mounting plate as Eldon’s popular Multi-Mount mild steel enclosure. The employment of a common mounting plate for both types of enclosure simplifies supply and installation, but because there is a single design of mounting plate, it can also significantly reduce inventory in key workshop activities.
The new ASR enclosure design also incorporates many of Eldon’s standard accessories, such as depth adjustment brackets and telequick mounting plates from the Multi-Mount range, thus providing many common accessories for both mild steel and stainless steel enclosures.
Eldon has also repositioned the ASR enclosure’s hinges to allow for the installation of additional accessories such as inner doors or aluminum frame glazed outer doors.
“Standardizing our enclosures to use the same mounting plate and accessories is just one more example of Eldon’s commitment to make things easier for customers,” said Chris Bourne, Eldon’s Product Manager, Stainless Steel.
Below there are details relating to the update of the ASR/ADR enclosure.
To summarise the changes:
- The ASR / ADR will utilise the MAS/ADR mounting plates,
- Side location of door hinge,
- Utilisation of MAS accessories,
e.g.

New wall bracket AWS41
Its is anticipated that the new production will be started no later than 1st of April.
The part numbers will remain the same. The enclosures will be identified with a 'Red Dot' Label to visibly identify the New Style.
Stock will be controlled and all existing stock will be issued first.
In order to improve our wall mounting products, we are bringing together the MAS and ASR enclosure by unifying the mounting plate and accessory range.
The use of the MultiMount mounting plate in the ASR/ADR provides several advantages:
