Effekt-Distribusjon
One of the main advantages of the Eldon Distribution Range is that you can design a system that perfectly matches your requirements directly from the catalogue. Using standard components from our Multi-Mount® and Multi-Flex® ranges, you can build a complete electrical distribution system for any typical lighting, heating or air conditioning application.
- Small secondary distribution panels using our Multi-Mount® range of mild steel wall-mounted enclosures, for moulded-case circuit breakers (MCCB), modular circuit-breakers (MCB), or other modular components.
- Medium secondary distribution panels using our Multi-Flex® range of mild steel floor standing enclosures, for small and large moulded-case circuit-breakers (MCCB), modular circuit-breakers (MCB), or other modular components.
- Main distribution assemblies for all type of circuit-breakers, air circuit-breakers (ACB), moulded-case circuit-breakers (MCCB), modular circuit-breakers (MCB), or other modular components.
The Eldon Distribution Range is based on standard enclosures and accessories, which gives the flexibility of integrating the control and distribution sections into the same enclosure system. The other advantage of the range is that it is a totally “open structure”, which means you can use any manufacturer of ACB, MCB, MCCB or Busbars. The choice is yours!
The Eldon Distribution Range provides a complete solution for a variety of different applications

ELDON MULTIFLEX LOW-VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR SYSTEM

Eldon’s new modular low voltage system is based on the existing Multi-Flex mild steel floor standing enclosure, and therefore allows the user to design and build a complete solution from essentially a standard range of enclosures and accessories.
There is no limit to the size of project this system can handle (small, medium and large assemblies), and it can be used for a variety of different applications: • Control aplications. • Electrical distribution panels. • Power systems. To further enhance the flexibility of the system, the designer or end user can specify any brand of electrical components to be used, as there are no restrictions to make, type or size. The frame is a fully welded construction which helps guarantee the highest rigidity, and the possibility of coping with the very highest Icc (short-circuit current) requirements.

The Eldon Power System has been tested by ETL-Semko and ASTA according to IEC/EN 60439-1. The TTA tests were performed on fully equipped assemblies containing different IP ratings and various forms of internal segregation, and other system features such as a combination of different busbar systems. One of the main advantages of the Eldon system is that you are able to manufacture a fully type-tested low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assembly (TTA) according to EN 64039-1. However, every system should meet the following conditions:
- The switching devices and components incorporated in the assembly shall comply with the relevant IEC standards, and should be suitable for the particular application with respect to the external design, rated voltages, rated currents, rated frequency, short-circuit protection, etc.
- The electrical connections inside the assembly must comply with EN 60439-1 7.8.
By following these standards and the relevant mounting instructions, the user only has to carry out the usual routine testing once the system is fully assembled, instead of any additional type testing (Wiring and electrical operation, dielectric properties and protective measures according to EN 60439-1 8).
