New Product Alert: Eldon Launches Self-Cleaning Cooling Units
Always seeking to make things easier for our customers, Eldon has launched an entire new line of self-cleaning enclosure cooling units. Targeting OEMs in the automation and control sector, Eldon’s new cooling units can keep a broad array of enclosures cool in harsh conditions like those found in factories and production facilities. Completely maintenance free, the new line of cooling units offers a cooling capacity from 330W up to 3800W. Most models are equipped with an electronic control board, allowing the enclosure status to be monitored and the temperature to be set from outside the enclosure.
“The new cooling units have more distance between the evaporator fins so the air flow circulates in such a way that dirt and dust drop out as a result of the hydrophilic treatment in the fins. This treatment avoids that dust adheres to the fins,” said David Ramos, Product Manager for Enclosures, Eldon. “Because Eldon Cooler Units do not require air filters, replacing them during costly maintenance stops becomes unnecessary. This development results in an increased degree of automation on the factory floor as well as a lowered risk of downtime due to component failure caused by overheated enclosures.”
The new range of cooling units includes models for side/door installation, roof installation, slim in installation as well as a version specifically designed for outdoor use.
