Eldon Launches New MultiFlex Based MultiCOM Enclosure for Outdoor Use

Seeking to meet the needs of Road and Railway Communication & Control systems and Internet appliances, Eldon is launching a new line of enclosures for outdoor use.

Composed of aluminum with a polyester coating, the new MultiCOM line features an innovative, corrosive-resistant design. Employing both a security lock together with seamless joints and non visible screws, it discourages vandalism.

The new MultiCOM range’s design also aids in thermal management. The line’s double wall construction has an air cavity between the inner housing and outer wall which, in concert with ventilation grids, allows air flow, minimizing the effect of the sun radiation.

Because the MultiCOM is based on Eldon’s best-selling MuliFlex line of enclosures, all of the MultiFlex accessories can be easily employed with the new range.
