Eldon Makes Enclosure Cabling Easier
Always interested in reducing installation time, Eldon is offering two new ways to make cabling easier for installers. Eldon’s first option is the cable brush bottom plate. In this option, the enclosure’s bottom plate is replaced with a bottom plate fitted with cable brush, creating a very easy cable entry that also offers dust protection. The cable brush bottom plate can be used with the both Multi-Flex® and the ElRack® range.
“By using a specially designed cable brush with two hair lengths, Eldon ensures a dust free environment inside the enclosure,” said Wieger Westra, Product Manager, Eldon. “Furthermore, a customer can increase the cabling area by ordering a second replacement cable brush entry bottom. This increases the extant cabling space from 400mm x 40mm to 400mm x 80mm.”
Eldon’s second option in making enclosure cabling easier is the cable brush plinth panel. This innovation also employs the firm’s special cabling brush technology, but the new plinth technology also allows cable entry to be faced upwards or downwards. In combination with 200 mm high plinths, two panels can be mounted facing each other which increased the cable entry space from 40mm to 80mm.

Both the cable brush bottom and the cable brush plinth options can be mounted even after the enclosures has been cabled.
