With their small size and practical placement within the enclosure, top mount cooling units have been a natural solution for keeping enclosure temperatures down, but up until now many in the industry have expressed concerns about the danger of condensation leaking down into the enclosure and damaging its sensitive components.
Eldon’s new Top Mount Cooling Unit, the DTT, has been specially designed to circumvent any possibility of condensate leakage into the enclosure. By eliminating the need for condensate prone hoses, as well as the possibility of condensate build up on the bottom of the cooling unit, Eldon’s DTT represents a new generation of top cooling unit.
“We’ve located the cold internal cooling circuit above the warm external cooling circuit, resulting a completely new design for top-mounted cooling units,” said David Ramos, Product Manager, Eldon. “This revolutionary approach guarantees the enclosure is kept condensate free.”
The new design also creates a 20% energy saving through the innovative use of more effective components.
