The installed weight in IT-racks is increasing rapidly. Servers are becoming larger and heavier and therefore the maximum load carrying capacity of the rack becomes more essential. Next to this, there is also an increasing need for cable space. To accommodate both these requirements, Eldon has developed a new Heavy Duty Mounting Bracket (EDWB). This new mounting bracket increases the maximum static weight load of ElRack® up to 1.000kg!
The Heavy Duty Mounting Bracket is a 19-Inch reducer used in 800mm wide racks to carry the 19-Inch profiles. Due to the special shape of the brackets, the installed weight load is supported over the brackets in a unique way. This makes it possible to carry loads up to 800kg with only 8 brackets. A maximum load of 1.000kg can be supported by use of 12 brackets and 4 pieces of 19” profiles.
In server racks the brackets can be used together with the Eldon Air Guide panelling system (EDAG) to provide optimum cooling and stability. Another big advantage is the fact that no space for cabling at the sides is lost because the brackets are used in combination with Eldon cable holders EDCH. The brackets can be used in all 800mm wide ElRack® versions and are fully depth adjustable which guarantee maximum user friendliness.
Description: 19-Inch heavy duty mounting brackets to support high loads in 800mm wide racks. Allows the mounting of the 19-Inch profiles (MLP/MLC) on partial or full height at any depth. To be used in all 800mm wide ElRack® versions independent of the depth. Can be used in combination with the Eldon Air Guide panelling system (EDAG) to provide optimum cooling performance and stability. To be mounted in combination with EDCH profiles, therefore the full cable space is utilized. Maximum supported weight is 800kg on 2 pair of EDWB/EDCH and 1.000kg on 3 pair of EDWB/EDCH.
