In today's busy world, customers large and small are looking more and more to their suppliers for the complete engineering solution.

 

When BMW were looking to specify an enclosure manufacturer, they choose Eldon, because as you can see from the picture below, Eldon have a solution for even the most complicated of applications.

 

Although the picture is not as impressive as the real thing, you may be able to see that three different types of enclosures have been used: At the top of the machine, four Elbox® racks (EBG) have been used to house all the process control equipment.  Additionally, easy connection between each cabinet was made possible, because of the rear gland plate opening.

 

Moving down to the middle of the machine, you can see they have used the (SASL) command arm system, so the operator can easily operate the machine from a safe distance.  The SASL is not only robust but also designed to be aesthetically pleasing, and blend in with the overall machines appearance.

 

Finally, around the bottom of the machine you will find 18 mild steel (IL-Installation Line®) terminal boxes, to provide maximum protection for sensitive installation equipment.
