In 2005, Eldon introduced the MCU top cabling unit. In January 2006, we bring our customers the new cabling or busbar plinth (PCU). While offering the same robust functionality as the top cabling version, the new plinth is capable of supporting the full load of an equipped enclosure.

 

The new plinth design also features slide-on bars making it easier and safer to use. The bars make it possible to slide a Mutli-Flex enclosure onto the plinth without the danger of the enclosure tipping over backwards. This innovative design represents an upgrade from what is presently available on the market. Lastly, while the plinth can be used for mounting busbar systems such as Erico and Ter-Mate, it can also be used for concealing the heavy cables feeding the panels.
