The E.S.B. in Ireland now using Eldon Enclosures
The telecommunications arm of Ireland’s Electricity Supply Board (E.S.B.) has selected Eldon Multi-Flex floorstanding enclosures in a major upgrade of its telecommunications network throughout Ireland.
The contract, which is for 100 floor standing enclosures per year for three years, was won by Eldon’s Irish distributor, MCC Controls.
“As a public utility, ESB is looking for the best, most reliable suppliers when it undertakes a project,” said Arnold Boekema, Export Manager, Eldon. “Our Multi-Flex range of enclosures delivers solid performance and MCC Controls is an outstanding local partner.”
“It was the cooperation of all three parties, MCC, Eldon and ESB Telecoms that brought this project together,” said Joe McCarthy, Managing Director, MCC Controls.
“The quality of the Multi-Flex range was complimented by us delivering exactly what the customer wanted. This means that every enclosure is being customised at the Eldon facility in The Netherlands with accessories such as mounted swing frames, cable trunking and earthing bars.”
The first units have already been shipped to the ESB.
