We have recently discovered that part of the manufacturing process of our ASR range of Stainless Steel wall mounting enclosures have experienced some manufacturing issues.

During part of the process we use TIG weld cleaning machines, which uses an acid to clean any black marks left after welding. Once the acid is applied and the weld is cleaned, additional chemicals are applied by hand to neutralize the effects of any remaining acid.

However, if this process is not followed correctly, it can lead to some slight discoloration which only becomes apparent after some weeks, and therefore undetectable by our quality control systems.

This problem has now been solved by changing to acid free chemicals, and using a "shot-blasting" process during manufacturing.

If you discover any enclosures with any discoloration they can be cleaned with the use of additional solutions, although we are happy to replace any affected enclosure free of charge.
