Swing Arms Range

Designed for not only the OEM user, the Eldon Swing Arm Range offers a versatile solution to the industrial user too.  The range consists of: the OICP (Operator Interface Control Panel); SA SL (Swing Arm System Light in Mild Steel) and SA SS (Swing Arm Stainless Steel).

The OICP is a specially designed control panel manufactured in anodised aluminium (IP65), for use with Operator Interfaces or HMI’s. The OICP is available in six standard sizes (other sizes are available on request). Aluminium front plates are also available in a variety of standard sizes, which you can easily cut out to fit the exact size of your touch screen, graphic terminal or operator interface etc (custom-made front plates in different sizes, with holes, cut-outs or printed are also available).  The OICP is supplied already machined for use with the SA SL, although is also available un-machined.

The SA SL is a swing arm designed for use with a separate lightweight control panel OICP or enclosure over short distances, with either open or closed profiles (the closed profile can increase the loading capacity up to a maximum of 450N).  The SA SL has an extensive range of different elbows and couplings available, to allow you to build a fully customised solution from a standard range, and has been fully tested against vibration. Other systems are available for more demanding applications (S05 up to 1000N, S06 up to 1250N, S08 up to 1500N and S14 up to 2600N).

 

Similar to the SA SL the SA SS is a stainless steel swing arm initially designed for the food and pharmaceutical industry where hygiene is of primary importance.  For use with stainless steel enclosures, the SA SS has a fully modular design and avoids the need for any external fixing screws.  The “easy-clean” system allows you to configure a variety of angular structures, without using any pre-formed section profiles.  The SA SS has also shown excellent anti-vibration characteristics, and depending on the length of the arm can support up to 600N.
