NEW GENERATION of Eldon Filter Fans
As electronics pack more power per square inch, cooling is becoming more and more important. Ventilation is by far the most used cooling solution in the market. Eldon is known in the market as a supplier of reliable and sturdy cooling solutions for its valued enclosures.
Eldon filterfans are equivalent to top of the line cooling devices. Eldon uses only the best materials and parts (for example we only use EBM-Papst fans) to ensure that machines can run continuously, and that processes do not come to a halt.
Filterfans have now been taken to the next level! Eldon has included:
- a more attractive design
- a simplified, patented CLICK-and-FIT installation
- an improved tool-less opening feature to check or replace the filter
- an improved air flow by using wind tunnel testing
- a lower noise level (up to 6 dB less which is 75% reduction of the sound pressure!)
- a simple way to change air-flow direction
- a Weidmulller connection clamp on the bigger units
- a direct angle change to shorten wiring and simplifying installation

New Patented click-in corners for even easier installation, without the use of tools
All these changes with one goal: Save time and cost on installation and service. And yet a lot easier than ever before.

IP55 versions now with 100% more airflow
The outdoor versions , known as the “EFP” versions, have a patented new type of filter. This special designed filter has a 3 TIMES LONGER SERVICE LIFE while improving air flow with over 100% compared to the old version. This means for the same application, you can save money using a smaller fan while maintaining the same cooling capacity. With the new filter the need for service has been reduced with 66%. And the new wind tunnel tested design will already keep the filter cleaner by rejecting dirt particles with the integrated threshold. Choosing Eldon means you can save money and use top notch technology at the same time!
All new generation filter fans will be delivered as standard in RAL7035. Other colours are available on request.
There is a wide range of voltages available to suit the different control applications.
The article numbers have been changed too.
The conversion however is very simple as cut-outs have stayed the same.
We have simply added a “0” to the number. To show the colour change we now add “R5” to the article number.
This means the current EF10 will be converted into an EF100R5. It couldn’t be simpler.
