Good news for machine builders and panel builders! Located at our warehouses throughout Europe, Eldon Express Customization Centers are now equipped to offer hole making, cut-outs and threading on Eldon’s standard products locally, efficiently, and with short lead times. Our aim is to make your life easier while saving you time and money.
What we offer
Listening to your needs as always, we have equipped our Express Customization Centers with modern equipment for machining Eldon off-the-shelf enclosures and other products. The product ranges that can be processed include mild steel and stainless steel floor standing and wall mounted enclosures, plus terminal boxes in several different materials, as well as many accessories, such as side panels.
We can offer cut-outs, such as rectangular, circular and other types, in any part of the body or door of an enclosure, and holes and threaded holes in different dimensions.
We offer this service in batch sizes of up to 20 units. We can also handle larger batch sizes, but then we need to look at each specific case and provide you with a proposal.
What we need from you
All we need from you is to include the chosen modification (holes, threaded holes and cut-outs) in an Eldon original drawing and deliver the file in an electronic 2D DXF or DWG supported format. We can then provide delivery of the modified product within 48-72 hours. It's fast, convenient and simple.
If you have a drawing in a format not supported by Eldon, we can create a version which is supported by our processes for you and, once it is approved, the machining process will commence.
Pricing made simple
A rapid price calculation tool is available on the Eldon website which will enable you to configure your machined enclosure and receive a price quotation for the work. The tool is for smaller batch sizes; for larger batches you need to contact us for a more detailed discussion.
When would it make sense to use this service?
There are, of course, many situations that could make the local Express Customization Center concept of interest to you. Perhaps it is simply more cost efficient for you to let us handle the machining instead of investing in costly milling/plasma machines. Or maybe you have installed such equipment in your workshop but you need additional capacity. Or you could be a machine builder requiring a prototype with just holes. Whatever the reasons, we now offer the service you need.
The Express Customization Center offering from Eldon is currently available in the Netherlands, but it will be introduced in Belgium and Germany in April, Sweden and Norway in May, and in Spain and the UK later this year.
